The Greatest
Stories Ever Told
It has been said
that "Every life has a story." Few would argue with that
observation. But Jesus it seems had a unique twist on that
statement. For Jesus − the greatest teacher who ever lived
− had a story for every life. These stories are called
"parables" indeed they touch every aspect of our lives. This
series will examine the life-changing impact these greatest of
all stories can have on anyone who simply has eyes to see and
ears to hear.

"On Being Wise" Luke 16:1-13
Most of us like to
consider ourselves if not wise at least as someone with a lot of
"common sense." But this common sense isn't what Christians are
called to exercise. We are commanded to be wise. That may sound
daunting but through Christ we can grow to be a truly wise
person. This parable points the way towards gaining and growing
in Godly wisdom.

"The Two Debtors" Luke 7:36-50
The way many folks
(including some preachers) talk about God you would get the idea
that He is in some way indebted to us. God owes us peace,
safety, joy, love, health and all sorts of other good things.
But what if God owes us nothing? What if we are the ones who owe
God everything? Here's a message that will help one do a
check-up on their thinking about our amazing God.
